The "Indian summer" was in full flow as i rode the train into Derby yesterday to have my stitches removed after my hand operation. The therapy people indicate some improvement in my hand mobility but i'm not so sure about the little finger as it feels incredibly stiff - - - time will tell.
On the way back the bus stopped in a queue of traffic which had been caused by the bomb scare in the story above. As i made my way to the station the Bomb Squad truck was just getting into the cordoned off area.
