Good fat & bad fat & reunion tears for Sally and friends

 Even the Express has a tinge of frustration in its main headline saying "its now OK to eat fat" the text however says low fat versions of food can kill you  which seems a little wide of the mark.  The  "disgraceful" headline attracts probably more attention! - - -
 The star has a great headline of "The plod Thickens" shows 2 plods "on holiday" but the thrust of the headline is the human rights issue of not naming criminals
the rain and wind cometh  is the story behind this pic with predictions of 30 to 50mm of rain about to fall on Thrusday and Friday - - - interesting - - -
================================================================
No rain here but tears of joy as Sally Kay and Lesley, old schoolfriends meet up for lunch after not seeing each other for 38 years! - - - like the sign in the background - --
 no rest for the wicked though as i walk down the hill to our logging area on a lovely still sunny day
 the pile is now under wraps with the promised deluge on Thu and Fri
still lots to smash up
 the lunch stop at The Grouse was very pleasant with hardly a breath of wind
i squeezed in on one of the outside chairs to have my J2O and sandwich and when i went in for my second J2O an old guy had sat in the seat i was occupying, no problem i thought and chose another but i did notice he just sat there for about 20 minutes with no drink or food and then left, lol  - - -
===================
 i walked in the afternoon and the pond i blogged some time ago is now full and looks like it will be magnificent once the foliage re=grows around it
  still no wind as i traverse the "golf course"
=======================
This morning in the garden  the Nasturtiums are a little jaded, the alliums are on their way out and the grow bag veg looks like its "had its day" - - - tempus fugit!
 the pond plants have been cut back once and are looking a little unruly, looks like a pond plant and filter clean afternoon today!
 The laurels almost hide the hideous next door fence fence now and even though its propped up from falling into next doors garden there looks to be a serious risk of it falling either way as it rocks back and forth in even the lightest of winds
a pleasant enough view earlier with the sun just on the other side of the valley
=======================
 still a little on the cool side with a single figure Temp this morning
the weathercam shows a clearing sky and forecasters are promising a sunny day
===========
Enjoy the day
