Here in the UK its the RSPB Garden Birdwatch weekend where we are encouraged to observe and report what type of birds visit our garden over a 1 hour period.
I note from the RSPB site that 33584 report have already been submitted. Strange to note though that the pic at left is of sparrows and it is a very rare visitor to our garden feeders - - -
here's a regular visitor to our feeders but the camera stopped working a couple of days ago. Thinking it had just died, after all its been out there for a number of years, i took it down last night only to find that the damp had got into one of the extension lead joints. The whole thing has been beside the log burner for a few hours so hopefully it will back up and running soon.
cool stats once again. The sky was clear at 06:00 but shortly afterwards cloud devolped and we had a light shower
the weathercam shows a partly cloudy sky just now - - -
Enjoy the day
