Its funny how with so much "publicity" about the eclipse yesterday so few of my colleagues at the Fun Factory were even aware it was going to happen. One even asked "is it the Sun in front of the moon?" - - - just think about that for a millisecond. "No i said and if it was it might be just a tad warmer where we are standing right.
More fun and games with the night shift as i walked in yesterday, i was informed that they didnt have time to work the full delivery but they had put some bread on the centre isle plinths for me - - - incredulous! describes my thouhgts as i said "oh thanks" and wandered off. Thinking they might just have put a couple of each loaf on there i noticed it was jammed full probably taking 10/15 minutes. As I wandered down the isle looking at the (night shift delivery) gaps on the shelves i thought of the well known "Star Trek" phrase "ITs logic Jim but not as we know it" - - -
We managed to survive the Eclipse then!
I wandered out into the warehouse at the appointed hour and the cloud cover was just too thick
finally as the temp cooled and it got darker there was enough of a gap to see the eclipse
the crowd went wild! - - -
not bad stats this morning with a bit of a breeze just now
quite a bit of cloud about with the prospect of some rain this a.m. but its going to be a sunny afternoon! - - -
Enjoy the day
