Turning cold tomorrow! & LM joins us in the garden

The chancellor looks set to give pensioners who are actually receiving an annuity the chance to cash them in  in the budget next week - - - glad to see that Clarkson has slipped off the front page - - -

A six day chill  is on its way according to this Express story. We have had a couple of sunny days lately but that's all about to change tomorrow with an easterly wind blowing in from Russia  - - -

The last couple of sunny days are decidedly over this morning as its raining and has been for some time
here's the garden bathed in sunshine
even the fish look to be enjoying the warmth
We dont normally have much luck with Lupins, they last a year then fail to grow but these look to be shooting up again
yesterday Little Man joined us in the garden and decided to run around the top of  the pergola
Put a box on the floor and you can guarantee most cats will jump into it, here's LM proving the rule.  The box only contained 2 pars of hiking sticks we had sent for - - - a bit "over packed" methinks
cool stats and we have had nearly half an inch of rain in the last 24 hours, most of it overnight
The weathercam shows a dismal picture with the rain quite heavy just now
The squirrel however is undeterred by the rain and convinced he can bite off the bottom of the peanut feeder, he'll get there in the end

We managed to get Boris under-sealed once more yesterday, always a messy job was made more difficult by an inch or so of waxy sludge in the bottom of the spray container.  It wasn't until i mixed in a bit of white spirit that it started to spray correctly

Enjoy the day
