No place like home! - - - & - - - Arrogant EU boss claims we were lied to over Brexit - - -

Enjoy the day – Enjoy the weather
=======================================
==============================
Quite the usual picture on the rain radar.  The movement of the blob is indicated by the arrows so we might remain clear until this evening
 Not a bad early morning Temp today and no rain in the last 24hrs. There's a stiff breeze blowing at the moment
The weathercam has a lot of cloud about and its looking quite grey just now.  The forecast is confident there will not be any rain until much later in the afternoon or evening

So thats it then the Canada Holliday is over and i never did get to see a Moose! I managed to lose 2 of my favourite baseball caps by leaving them in the Lagoon City hotel.  Sally was convinced i hadn't packed them in the first place but returning home i could not find any trace of them - - - hey ho

After fond farewells
Sharon was off to Ottawa for a training session with Fred.
 with a last look at some of my handiwork we loaded up the Jeep and headed off to Toronto airport.  we had originally planned to go straight South to Lake Ontario the West into the city but the previous evening i thought going back through Algonquin park might be easier
It turned out to be a good move because the traffic was light through the park
 we saw some wonderful fall colours on the trees
 and wondered what it would look like in a fortnights time when they all have changed
 I did see a moose! but only on this sign where we stopped for lunch.

Passing Orillia and then Barrie we then started to see the traffic build as we approached the city.  A Google map recce the previous day of the way back into the airport proved a bonus as we cruised through the city and neatly into the parking bays for the Jeep we hired.
We had quite a time to wait but managed to get rid of our bags early going through the intensely frustrating passport and queuing ritual in the process.  I once again wonder if we might give air travel a rest for a few hols!
going through security into departures is a breeze except for an ignorant B-----d pushing his way past us to get at the search procedure before us.
We are then entertained by the Marathi restaurant where you sit at a table and each place has an ipad in front of it by which you order food and drinks.  Stretching out the eating and drinking we sit there surfing the net until its time to board the flight.
I looked at our website sitting in the Marathi and was turning off the IR light on the birdfeeder webcam when i noticed a mouse in the fatball feeder!  Try as i might i couldnt get a "grab" photo that was clear enough to show it in detail!
----
The flight is the overnight "red eye" so we do get some sleep.  The entertainment you have to pay for and the food is almost inedible.  On the plus side you do get lots of water or soft drinks and the crew are great - - - food 3 out of 10 - - - crew 9 out of 10.  The flight is bumpy so we dont get a hot drink - - disappointing but understandable.

Arriving at Manchester at around 11:00 our bags are last off but we quickly pick up Cyril from the multi story and are off to pick up LM in no time.  Curiously the air bag light goes out when i start up the van but then comes back on - - a problem to be resolved later.
We arrive home and have a very welcome "cup of real tea" check and feed the fish and the birds, inspect the garden before settling down catch up on some TV.

All in all a great holiday but "there's no place like home"

A PEEK AT THE PAPER
Two free drinks and a health lottery ticket up for grabs in the banners this morning
The main story is about the Arrogance of one of the EU "bigwigs" claiming we were lied to over Brexit vote - - - moron! - - -
