Enjoy the day – Enjoy the weather

The current radar display shows us to be under a large blob of rain and the direction of travel makes it look like it will be with us for some time yet
Another mild start to the morning with a breeze blowing just now. The overnight rain began at 02:00 and came down hard for a while at 04:00
The weathercam view shows the "seaweed" is wet at the moment and the sky has a very flat aspect to it due to the light conditions. Metcheck is predicting sun for this afternoon which is diametrically opposed to the Met O story of rain all afternoon
=========================================================
I spotted the mouse on the bird feeders again early this morning and managed to get a shot of it
here its sitting in the tray
and once again sitting on the edge of the tray - - - LM will probably catch him in the end!
=======
I walked the cycle path yesterday and was surprised that the leaves on the trees dont seem to have advanced to Autumn much while we have been away
The view across the river is also much the same. I suppose we need a cold snap to set everything in motion
the trees up on the exposed hill look a little browner
There's obviously not been a lot of rain in the last 2 weeks because the river level is quite low
I ended the walk with the usual shot across the river before sitting in the greenhouse at the top of the garden with LM and a good book - - -

A PEEK AT THE PAPER
The banner carries a freebie from Asda
The main story is trying to implicate Christopher Halliwell in more murders of women - - -
This story from the Express starts with Atlantic Super Storm Warning and is hinting at some rough weather to come next week. Two storms in the Atlantic are meant to join forces and head for Britain. The reality of it is that although the Met O predict some strong winds next week, Metcheck have yet to pick up on this - - -
