The Express is back on the Cancer Crusade this morning. The details of the story do however look to be ushering in a whole new set of drugs to treat a number of cancer tumours. Sky News also carries the same story but a Doctor sounds a not of warning in that combining the new drugs could have "potentially quite severe side effects"
The lower half of the Express front page carries some "good news" about the weather with claims of 86F (30c) by the weekend
The weather might put a dampener on the Solar powered aircraft attempting to fly around the world having been delayed by bad weather in China before attempting to cross the pacific the plane is now in a "holding pattern" while it is decided if it should turn back or go ahead. The weather is worsening so things don't look good. - - - the technology aspect seems great but apart from that it does seem a tremendous waste of money and effort? - - -

quite cold Temp. stat this morning but the earlier breeze seems to have died down
The sky is clear overhead but a bank of thick cloud is forming way off to the south. The forecasters are predicting the cloud will build and we shall have rain from around 15:00
