Yangtze river capsize & Laburnum leaning this morning!

The Express  reveals a study that indicates that "good sleep" can "power cleanse the body and  prevent the build up of toxic proteins which are thought to trigger the disease - - - predictions also appear on the front page to flag up a "soar in house prices" as well as a reality TV show alleged fiddle - - -
Freak weather  is blamed for the capsize of a boat filled with tourists on the Yangtze River in China.  More than 450 were thought to be on board at the time of the accident.  The pic shows a rescuer tapping on the hull from which cries have been heard.  So far only a dozen people have been rescued.   A high powered salvage ship is being despatched to try and right the vessel - - -
Own branded against the real thing  this in depth report go;s a long way to debunking the myths behind branded products against what would be described as the "real thing".  With some "dont bother" buying this and that surprises i guess its really try it yourself before believing the whole tale.  - - -

The weather did as it was told yesterday with some quite nice sunny periods in the morning.  In the afternoon and early evening the winds strengthened and the rain came.
I blogged about how magnificent our Laburnum was but explained its vulnerable position in the clay based soil
after a night of ferocious winds which only abated around 02:30 this is the mornings sorry sight.  One of the posts helping hold it upright  has snapped at its base and the tree has more of a list than it had yesterday - - - todays first job is to attempt a repair - - -
the squirrel joins us for breakfast! - - -
quite good stats with double figure Temp. this morning and still a bit of a breeze blowing
A cloud covered sky to the West belies the fact the sun is shining from out of the Eastern sky at the moment.  Forecasters are indicating a "mixed bag" of sunshine and showers for today

Enjoy the day
