Closer to home
I realised yesterday as I stacked the old bread down at the Fun Factory that it was my last shift for nearly a month.  My hand Op is next wed then 2 weeks in stitches, no pun intended!  By that time I'll have started what was meant to be 2 weeks holiday so my next shift is looking like the 16th Oct - - -

I couldn't help noticing yesterday that there were 2 rollers of "Christmas stuff" sat in the warehouse and chatting to a colleague, "lets call him Matt" he was assuming it would fall to him to "dress it in" the isle on Tuesday when the "special offers" everyone sees are changed.

Not one to let the grass grow underneath his feet though the store 2nd in command, "lets call him Mike" gave instructions and in no time at all the new Bakery Boss Lady, "lets call her Jenny" had one of our bays looking very "Christmassy" - - - 

We were sitting in the garden the other day when we spied a "bloon" we have not seen before

Number 1 Daughter, the elder reports her kittens Mog & Mindy have survived their illness and are back to normal dashing around and playing with everything in the house.  Here they are between bouts of dashing - - - the teddy in the pic says "hi"

The weather today looks like it might be very nice so its off for a bit of logging around midday.  Sally is joining me but it wont be long before she heads off for a "chatathon" with Lisa, at least she's showing willing - - -
