Lambzilla! & Sainsbury loses another of his lives!

We see a lot of lambs living out here in the country
but here's one that is very big!
22.5lbs weight when it was born a world record!

Our friend Lisa owns Napkin the sheep who features on my logging blogs sometimes is getting another baby lamb soon so he has a friend  - - - watch this space

Here's an odd bit of a world record
The smallest parachute in the world, the guy jumped from 14,000 feet which i guess must be part of the record! I'm not sure about his closing comment to the story though, It doesn't matter how much sacrifice and effort you have to go through to achieve something that you want. You just have to go for it.  - - - Mmmmmm

Its nice to know that the Idiot Police are alive and well and apparently living in Ryde, Isle of Wight
The young girl lost her Grandfather to cancer and made the effort to raise money for Cancer Research by shaving off all her hair.

The Ryde Academy insist she wears a wig or she cannot attend school  "because its part of its uniform policy"

Whaaaat!  Just for the crack she aught to wear a Tina Turner or Dolly Parton creation just to show "them" how she feels! - - -

The express has yet another
miracle cure for Arthritis along with a prediction for a bit of good weather - - - i fancy the weather is a better bet!

Closer to home
Little Sainsbury
lost another of his lives today! He appeared soon after i had got up this morning and sat on his cushion in front of the fire.  His right back leg was stuck out at an awkward angle and he was mewing in pain.
Being a "glass half empty" person i imagined him to have been hit by a car and feared the worst.  He calmed down a little soon after and actually managed to fall asleep before we carted him off to the vets at 0830.
Once again Bakewell Vets did a fantastic job and when we collected him at 1640 he was looking pretty chipper, all that attention i guess!
It turned out he has hooked himself on a barbed wire fence or been attacked by another small animal.  His penance has to be that he is not allowed out for a couple of days

Here he is waiting patiently by the cat flap which is locked.  Unfortunate for him he has lots of pills and potions over the next few days so he is "grounded"

Enjoy the day
