Bee's a plenty & The pathfinder arrives!

I know there are lots of people who freak out at even a single bee buzzing around them, if you are one of them look away now as the saying go's
Mr She performed the stunt as its being called to promote sales of his honey and had 460.000 bees on his body.  who's doing the counting?
He reportedly was stung more than 20 times during the performance!

With the end of Microsoft's support for Windows XP there has been a lot of worrying media attention on "vulnerability" of computers using the OS
At the same time Microsoft pulled the plug on updates for its XP related Microsoft Security essentials which i thought was a tad unfair.  Replacements are available as freeware but if you are thinking of using one make sure you download it from the "owners" site otherwise you may get a virus or the usual load of "other software" you might not want.
Along with all this concern, a nasty "heartbleed bug"  is making the rounds of servers the world over.
The pic at left from "Minecraft-maker Majong who had to shut down its game servers to path its own vulnerable software - - -

It seems that its not only "our" MP's who have their "snouts in the trough" on getting more "expenses" than they should
Members of his "Team Scotland" visit to the USA at the time of the Ryder Cup in 2012 stayed at a modest £60 a night hotel while he and his wife stayed at the Peninsula Hotel charging £1164.
The rub here though is his refusal of a number of "Freedom of information" requests to come clean on the expenditure. - - -

a pub in Cornwall put up a sign to indicate to customers that it was open when nearby maintenance work closed roads in the area
Oh dear read the story to see the real name!

Closer to home
We are awash in blossom in the garden and i must post a few pics tomorrow.  The Apple tree we decimated in the winter is producing leaves along with the stump of the hawthorn which was reduced to a 4ft high trunk.
Out walking locally yesterday we spotted a lone "Swallow"  so are assuming it must be "The Pathfinder" for the rest.  No doubt the House Martins and Swifts will follow in the next couple of weeks - - -

Sainsbury the Tabby cat was allowed out yesterday afternoon after his forced incarceration
The 2 wounds on his back legs don't seem to have slowed him down at all. Here he is on top of the southern pergola inspecting the territory.  He managed to bring in a mouse for a midnight snack so its looking like business as usual for him. click to make the pic larger to see the smile on his face!  - - -

The logging went well yesterday and with the wind in the right direction i finished off a pile of old brashings with a bonfire
Just the larger group up the hill a little and this area will be clear - - -
Enjoy the day
