Great Halloween "trick" & DONT USE CoreSales on Amazon

This Halloween story from the Mail made me laugh!  A woman dressed in a blood stained butchers apron and waving a fake knife around gave kids a lambs heart before chasing them down the street with the knife.  Of course the kids parents didn't see the funny side and even said, "I was so angry they had been made to touch real meat. They could have got ill form it"  - - - I think she should get out a little more!

I see that Paul Gambaccini is the latest to be arrested by the Op Yew Tree cops on "suspicion of sexual offences"
He is denying the "historic"  allegations and is bailed to appear in court in January next year.  He has decided not to be "on air" for the time being - - - - "NEXT!"

A really harrowing and sad story is covered by the BBC News
These men are burying the bodies of people who had set out from Niger on a journey to Algeria and one of the vehicles in their convoy broke down.  A 14 year old girl is telling the story of what went form bad to worse and then disaster. - - - so sad

Dickie Bird, the internationally acclaimed cricket umpire is the subject of this BBC story
Here he is on the left pictured with his statue in Barnsley his home town.  Pranksters have been hanging all manner of "things" on his statues raised finger indicating a batsman is "out".  The statue has been elevated ion this plinth in an attempt to stop the "adornments"  - - - methinks it might just make the things more difficult to remove!

The shop is really revving up for Christmas now with Halloween out the way and fireworks for "Bonfire Night" really just a chore.  We almost have the whole of the Christmas puds and cakes on show and it will be developed fully in the next few weeks.  One of our bakers is leaving to become a plasterer!  I think the work will prove a little harder than he thinks!

"Amazon" internet shopping is normally a good experience and the items land on the mat at or before the prescribed or promised time.  We however have had our first, "No show" from a company calling itself "CoreSales".  Having had the cats chipped we bought on the 16th of Sept a "Sureflap" cat flap from CoreSales.
The delivery window came and went an nothing arrived.  I e mailed (through Amazon) and was told "a replacement would be despatched"  Once again,  - -- nothing, further attempts to communicate with CoreSales brought no reply so we are now going through the Amazon claim procedure to get the money back.  So the message is DONT DO ANY BUSINESS ON AMAZON WITH CoreSales.  You might not get your items!
Enjoy the day
