More Sir Terry well deserved accolades & logging clear up

Great story from the Express  this morning and listening through the day to Radio 2 there was a never ending stream of Wogans favourite records quotes and dedications to the great man.  The hastily put together programme on BBC 1 was a fitting tribute to the legend - - -

I've heard of bikes with motors and seen one or two but never realised that competition bikes could be fitted with tiny invisible one's, in the story there's even a report of Alberto Contador refuting "motor allegations" when swapping his bike for another before stiff climbs in the Giro! - - -

 This Sky News story  claims a jet nearly hit a drone near the houses of parliament passing within  20 metres of the plane.  The story also relates other passenger aircraft near misses at Manchester Stansted and Heathrow.  Unless something is done i suppose a collision is inevitable sometime.

The BBC are putting out this story warning commuters in Scotland to be aware of Storm Henry during their early morning commute. The Met O is reporting that winds should ease during Tuesday morning.
=========================
This Metcheck warning for Storm Henry puts us right in the blue "Low Risk" area and that was pretty accurate, i think we only had one noisy gust of wind around midnight which didnt exceed the 11:00 a.m. max of 20.8mph recorded earlier.
===========================================
The http://www.xcweather.co.uk/ current wind chart still looks to have some strong winds but its looking like these will ease over the course of the morning
the rain chart shows some rain around however our local area might miss it due to the wind being almost Westerly for the day
========================================
With little in the way of overnight rain Sunday i decided to get a couple of hours logging in Monday morning
 after clearing more of the space by the fallen wall i set to getting rid of the bits left over from the last tree i felled
 the sun struggled to gain a foothold between the scudding clouds but at one point it managed a brief appearance
 it took some time to get it sorted and as usual i finished up with some lumpy bits that resisted the maul
covering the pile i made my escape for the day, I should be able to start felling the small stuff on the other side of the wall today
 A cool Temp start this morning but the wind is not evident unlike yesterday
the cloud cover is very thin on the weathercam so there's little chance of any rain from it and forecasters indicate the same for the whole day.

Enjoy the day
