Brexit rivals unite for the battle & twas a wet day yesterday

The Sunday Express has a pleasing headline this morning indicating that the various Brexit groups are uniting in an effort to rid us of the EU yoke  There's a great quote from Mr Farage in the story "The logical, practical and safe thing to do is cut ties with a failing political union and take back control of our lives" - - -

5 dead in massive mile wide avalanche  in this Express story it covers a number of avalanches, the latest yesterday, where people have been killed.  At the start of the season there was no snow now large amounts have fallen but the combination of snow and weather have lead to avalanche conditions in many of the popular ski areas.  At the bottom of the article theres a video titled "lethal avalanche of snow" which shows not all avalanches travel at speed - - -

I was just going to delete an e mail with this offer of a free e book attached but then read the text it came with , I liked the look of http://www.makeuseof.com/ ages ago and there are some intersting reviews on the site but of course as soon as you "sign up" there is the "confetti" of e mails urging you to visit the site etc - - - and this is one!
Anyway i digress this e book, free to download claims it will teach me "the 52 hidden habits to discover my true hidden potential in life and business" - - - to download it i need to fill in a form "of some personal information in order to compile demographicical (?) statistics" Mmmmmm - - - might give this one the thumbs down - - -

With almost continuous rain yesterday it didn't make much for outdoor activities although i did manage to sharpen the chainsaw in readiness for some finer weather soon
the netweather radar display shows Scotland having a significant rain event right now, our area looks as if its being spared as long as the splodge in the Bristol Channel doesn't come our way
the Metcheck prediction for today looks like they are confident of no rain before 16:00 and then the picture changes to a decidedly wet evening and night
==============================================
 Its a cold start this morning and earlier i could see quite a few stars in the clear night sky that wind speed will make for some serious wind chill
the weathercam pic shows a fairly clear sky and  its expected we will have a Max Temp of 8c with quite strong winds today

UPDATE 13:00
cloud building now on the weathercam as well as 3 jackdaw raiders looking for food
