Cant empty yer bin! & the squirrel wins

Only one word really for the express headline this morning why? - - -

here's a great jobsworth story from the Mail, the binmen in Farnham are refusing to empty a "non recyclable" bin because a passer by had picked up an empty crisp packet and stuffed in the top of the bin! - - - personally we didn't like the idea of having a row of bins out the front of the cottage so we take our rubbish to the  recycle centre just down the road.  The bins?  one has our bird food in, another our swinging seat cushions and the third and smallest is kept handy with the rubbish bags in until its time for a trip to the RC

The Easter rush was well in evidence yesterday at the Fun Factory with shoppers scooping up the "bargains".  Its funny that we have had Easter "stuff" in since new year and some shoppers were expressing their indignation that we are running out of "Easter stuff" and "might not be getting any more in" - - -

The management, well the lower echelons of the management, seem unable or unwilling to accept the fact that "3 into 2" wont go! Not only now under the "new rules" do i have to spend an hour with my colleagues collecting empty cardboard etc during the "rumble",  which it has to be said is a rather amusing period of  the day" "I was asked/told/it was suggested", that i work the cream cakes if i have time, I declined!

OK OK you furry little rodent you win! the squirrel/s have finally gnawed through the bottom of the steel on the peanut feeder, time for a change of feeder 

mild stats this morning but a dull day ahead methinks 

quite a clear view of the top of the valley but the weatherman is indicating light rain during the daylight hours
