A Microsoft Professional at 5 & A wok is a personal thing

Amazing to think that this child has passed the Microsoft Certified Professional exam at the age of just 5!
He will no doubt get stick at school for being so brainy and one day rub shoulders with other like minded boffins - - -

Another crusty old pervert from the BBC school of molesters hits the news with  Chris Denning pleading guilty to a string of misdemeanours years ago.  The story claims that Denning has a redeeming quality in not making his victims have to go through a trial.  - - - I dont think so! - - - - as in previous posts about the BBC i shall cry out once again - - - Next! - - -

This story is really about the drought in California which apparently has an almond business and needs a trillion gallons of water to keep it going.  The pic of the bloke spraying his dead grass lawn green is amusing, talk about vanity! - - -

From my last real job i'm still subscribed to one of these motivational sites called http://www.pacificinstitute.co.uk/ .  There is the odd nugget produced that makes interesting reading.  However, the home base in Canada sent our an e mail inviting all subscribers to its xmas party.   Great you might say but unfortunately it should have only been an internal e mail!  funny if everyone turned up! - - -
An apology e mail followed the invite!
As you may have already noticed, you received an announcement for The Pacific Institute's Annual Christmas Party. The invitation was meant to go out to The Pacific Institute staff members. Unfortunately, the wrong button was clicked and the email went out to our entire email list!

We would love to have you all attend, but the building might be a little too small to fit everyone we are associated with for the past 43 years.

We apologize for the confusion, but we still wish you all a very happy holiday season!

I'm off to Derby today to have the final sign off for my hand op and asked Sally a couple of days ago if she wanted anything from the little chinese supermarket on Wilmot street "A Wok" she proclaimed.  Sorting out my gear for the trip I sat down and said to her "right this wok what type and how big"  A troubled look came across her face as she struggled to find the words.  "No leave it" she replied, "A woks like buying jewellery ITS A PERSONAL THING!"  LOL - - -

once again not bad stats but the rains getting a little tedious having been with us since 23:00 last night
weathercam doesn't look too bad although the clouds look menacing at the moment.  The forecast reckons it might rain for most of the daylight hours - - -

Enjoy the day
