The Express highlights the Migrant baby boom hardly surprising when we are fed a tale of migrants flooding into the UK from the media most days - - -
much excitement is being generated by the Pluto fly by of the New Horizons probe i wonder what will be done with all this "new knowledge?" - - -
Chris Froome from Team Sky dominates the Tour de France
with the 11th stage going up the Col de Tourmalet it wasnt going to be an easy stage but most of the GC contenders were intact at the finish
this pic of a rider, clearly on a descent just missing some cows crossing the road highlights yet another danger on Le Tour

A little logging took place yesterday
the tree moved a little as i cut off the lower boughs
finally reaching the bit that fell on the fence the damage was minimal and today's work should see this tree cleared away onto the firewood pile
I managed to get some work done on the book yesterday
but the in background for the last few weeks i have discovered a number of accounts from a particular action which i was unaware of. I received a Regimental Newsletter some time ago and in it were 2 personal accounts of the action. One from a person up the sharp end and one from another at a casualty receiving station. I contacted both and secured permission to use their accounts as Appendices. Out of the blue then i make contact with a third person who for his part in the action got a Distinguished Conduct Medal and now have a copy of his citation to include in the book - - -

quite cool this morning with a single figure Temp to start the day
the weathercam shows a pleasant enough picture and the forecasters are confident that 22c is on the cards for later today with a side order of maybe thunderstorms in the evening - - -
