Ungulate kills man & The storm's a comin, what storm?

I never knew that the camel belongs to a group of animals called Ungulates - -  The word is included in the sorry tale of an American, Richard Mileski, a wildlife sanctuary owner being killed by a camel, well dromedary really but who's counting humps when the thing is trying to kill you?
He would give the animal a can of fizzy drink and on the day he was killed he neglected to do that - - -

The pic at left is of a blanket of snow in New South Wales   The Australians in this area are obviously not used to this type of thing because its described as "a freak snow storm"  The outcome knocked out electricity power and caused floods - - -

The Express is trumpeting the usual doom and gloom as a storm approaches the UK.  The story though gets lots of coverage in the media! - - - Alas the "Met boys" seem to have missed it because there are no "alerts" or warning issued yet by the BBC, Metcheck or the Met Office apart from the odd comment that it might be "breezy" over the weekend! - - -

This is yesterdays Express and after only a few days ago we were told that Energy companies would not be hiking their charges this winter clearly the Express has another angle on it - - - altogether now "Tell me the old old story"

Bracing ourselves for the "apparent Hurricane" set to hit in the next few days i had hoped to re commence logging tomorrow but it looks like i might be restricted to just getting out the chainsaw and making sure i can start it after the layoff.

Little Man continues to bring in the results of his night time hunting, having removed a mouse from a trap this morning under the kitchen cabinets he promptly brought in another and left it at the door before going out again - - - maybe thats some kind of "packed meal for later"

The stats this morning are looking a little ominous as the barometer is dropping and it is "very quiet" outside just now - - - is this the "quiet before the storm? - - -
The valley and sky view is a little dull but who knows it might clear later

Enjoy the day
