There's a lot of debate in Sweden about
drunken Moose antics around this time of year. A belief that they get drunk on apples which ferment inside them is de-bunked by an expert in the story but the locals who take these extraordinary pics don't buy it. The moose in the pic here looks to be choosing some shoes? ! - - -

My visit to see Number one Daughter (the elder) went well
Here we are relaxing in her garden after having had lunch at a local pub. I viewed the 200 mile drive with a little trepidation especially having had many "tedious" trips to Banbury when i worked there years ago. The drive however turned out to be ok - - -

The shots are taken under Infra Red lighting so hence they are black and white. The movement sensor in the software that triggers the shot is so sensitive that all I have been getting is a nose or a tail. I will move the camera today so its looking up rather than down on the stairs
The weather earlier was quite windy and rainy but we seem to be having a bit of a lull in the wind aspect just now. The temperature has dropped over 3c in the last hour or so which was predicted so the winds might pick up again soon.
