Hello Gonzalo! & a bit of gardening

The weathermen are sticking their necks out and forecasting that Gonzalo will give us some problems tomorrow with this Sky News story indicating a "Yellow alert" has a warning that a large area of the UK will be battered tomorrow.  There is a cop out in the story though with the comment "Some uncertainty remains of the track and intensity" of the system.  Better be safe than sorry i suppose - - -

The Express climbs aboard the band wagon with its headline this morning while the Metro coverage sounds a little more realistic with its prediction "Dont worry you wont need a hurricane shelter ... not this week anyway - - -

The weather here took on a windy persona yesterday as we made a few modifications to the garden
The bed at the right hand side of this pic has always been difficult to maintain because it is about 8 feet wide so we decided to clear it and start again

Getting out the old shrubs and roots took quite a time to complete
nearly there - - -
These are the old daffodil bulbs going back in we are not sure how many are active but we can add more in the summer if needs be.
The path in the middle of the bed should make it easier to maintain now - - -
It was all too much for Little Man though so he found a quiet spot on the kitchen windowsill
The stats look promising for a fine day today
Even the weathercam has a tiny bit of clear sky on it

Enjoy the day
