Tour de France Beetroot! & bits and bobs

Being an avid follower of the Tour de France
I spotted this story the other day about The Belkin Team
One of the driving forces behind the team Louis Delahaye insists that its on the menu every day! - - - Interesting fact about it having a high nitrate content and that this helps the muscles use oxygen more efficiently - - - watch the results

Ever used a bidet?
Here's an amusing story about them and who does/doesn't use them.

I always joke about having moved up in the world because we don't keep the coal in the bath any more we store it in the bidet! - - -

Great video
about 2 lumberjacks saving a bear from further harm by using a mechanical claw to get what looks like a milk churn off the bears head - - -

Closer to home
We are having some great weather lately (kiss of death now!) and i generally take a pic from the top of the garden when i'm feeding the fish and birds in the morning
Here's this mornings effort
the garden is looking pretty good just now but its a battle to keep the weeds down!
I walked the White Edge with Debs yesterday and it looked for all the world like we were going to soaked by the approaching storm - - - luckily we didn't
after lunch at the grouse with Sally and Debs I walked back along Froggatt edge and could see a big rain cloud the other side of Chatsworth.
I'm hoping to add another 3 loads to the on site logging store today before attacking those weeds in the garden
Enjoy the day
