Our efforts to buy a tent online have once more been thwarted, this time by the Carrier DPD. Having spoken to Tesco Direct customer services, after a failed earlier delivery, they arranged for a next day (Friday) delivery, which DPD went and changed the delivery day until Monday.
The tent price had fallen by £12.50 which Tesco offered to refund from my original purchase price which I thought was a nice idea.
Once again Tesco Customer services swung into action and offered to try inputting another order for a Saturday delivery but in the end after some discussion between us the whole order was cancelled. We have been offered a full refund plus £10 for the inconvenience! - - -
Having phoned the local yeomans outdoor shop and discovered a tent which "will do" Sally will be attempting to secure it today.
So after nearly a month and 4 thwarted delivery attempts we might be getting there - - - fingers crossed

the weathercam shows a heavy cloudy sky this a.m. Forecasters hold out little chance of any sunshine although rain is also not confidently indicated either
