Probably not a good thing with my "dodgy knees" but i have started to do a little jog in the mornings. I was lucky to spot a Fox running much faster than me across one of the fields and down to the river.  I'll not try anything too strenuous and just around the local fields until i get a feel of how the old joints will cope with the exercise! I'll give it a couple of weeks before trying anything approaching "ambitious!"

Nice morning and with the Bar. having shot up late evening and through the night it might be a half decent day

More Royal baby stuff & a soggy start to the day

Another Royal baby day for the Express, I guessed right on the names for the new Princess - - -

Thank goodness  this tedious nightmare will be over by Friday, then the fun and games will start - - -

 almost warm stats this morning but the Bar is still falling slowly 

 a soggy looking hillside after some early rain although the sun is making its presence felt right now.  The forecasters dont hold out much hope for anything other than a rainy day - - -

back to normal in the Express on its health promotion it would appear Diabetes is taking the country by storm

After yesterdays early heavy rain the garden looked quite cheerful later on in the sunshine

 the peach is looking good 

 we must keep the vine under control this year.  I let it go last year and it filled the whole greenhouse 

 This miniature apple tree has been moved 3 times now but it stil looks ok 

 we claim not to be able to grow tulips but this tub proves otherwise 

 the pond plants are getting quite large now 

The overall picture looks good after the very rainy morning

 quite mild Temp. stats this morning with the Bar. climbing

great clear sky on the weathercam, there's a little cloud off to the south which it is forecast will build through out the day.  Little chance of rain until around 18:00

Royal Princess & a wet soggy day

The Express falls in line with the rest of the media today for a change - - -

The weather, as predicted by forecasters turned very wet yesterday afternoon and early evening.  We will see much of the same for most of today - - -

 mild Temp. but the Bar. is still falling 

 the birdfeeder looks a little soggy and no visitors at the moment 

the weathercam shows the low cloud and the full cloudy sky.  Bit of a make and mend day methinks

just (07:30) spotted a very soggy squirrel having breakfast

more miracle cures & its a frosty morn

I couldn't even find the story to fit the headline on the Express website but here's another claiming to drink a glass of water a day will cut the risk of diabetes - - -

the Express is also forecasting that the Bank holiday approaching will be cold wet and travel chaos will ensue - - -

With electioneering going a furious pace, less than a week to go thankfully and the latest debate declares Mr Cameron a winner while Mr Milliband says he will not do a deal with the SNP and there will not be a Labour Government if he is forced that way - - - is that good news or bad? - - - 

 frost was predicted but i dont think it was as heavy around here as we thought it might be

the squirrel we think  managed to dislodge the fatball feeder yesterday, here it is enjoying breakfast just now
