The display this morning shows a significant blob of rain moving across our area its going to be around for a while methinks. A point about the rain hitting England, this could be the pre-cursor to a shift in the weather to some colder temps.
6.1c is once again on the verge of being mild. Looking round at my usual world webcams i spotted that Parga in Greece, a holiday resort is only 3.1c this morning

The weathercam view shows it to be cloudy grey and breezy. I cant see it improving much throughout the day

Today will be wet cold and windy with the possibility of snow above 400m. The rain will gradually clear this morning leaving a cold wind strengthening. This evening there's a chance of some cold wintry showers

Today I'm off into hospital (Happy New Year) to start what might be a prolonged course of treatment. I'll blog when i can but they might be infrequent
