 I dont think we will have room to store all this pile so some of the wood i will begin sawing up today might join it 

i spent some time removing the stacking frame from the old wood shed in order that there will be more room as we convert it into a shed.  

 Temp is still dropping just now but the sun will soon make its presence felt 

the weathercam has a blue hue still but the sky is clear and we look set for a sunny morning.  The Met O is predicting hazy conditions this p.m. then clouding over with a chance of rain as it gets dark

This dust cloud from a volcano in Chile is set to cause problems.  The volcano in the south of the country has been silent since 1972 and the eruption was totally unexpected - - -

 cold stats once again this morning no frost around though 

the weathercam viz is restricted to around 350/400 metres at present with a carpet of mist swirling around the valley, forecasts indicate that it will be 18c and sunny today.  The Arctic Plunge forecast earlier in the week is temporarily suspended i think

this mini rhododendron has a couple of blooms and will have to be moved because the shrub in the background looks set to overwhelm it 

 LM has a sore paw this morning, he looks to have been trying to dig something up and has split one of his pads - - - 

 its cold right now but the temp is warming gradually 

 nice clear sky on the weathercam, the frost only developed around 05:30 so we are hoping it hasn't damaged any young shoot or plants

Ah thats better, the EXpress is back to the usual health kick today passing on the Details from a 10 year study that too many vitamin supplements can increase the risk of cancer and heart disease - - -

sitting in the garden early evening we were admiring the blossom and all the new spring plant growth.  Well here's a story which might put a dampener on the weather from Thursday onwards.  Whats being called a mini arctic plunge could be with us until the end of April and into early May - - -

 quite cold out this morning 

the weathercam shows just a hint of early morning mist and there's a frost which might affect some of the blossom and young plants in the garden.  Chances of a sunny day look good right now

Monday monday at the Fun Factory! One of my jobs is to reduce items with "todays date" and i had "had my eye" on a small box of cakes with the 18th on a couple of days before they needed to be reduced.  On the 18th i missed them! for whatever reason and as i wandered in yesterday, there they were in a box in the warehouse shouting, "missed me!" - - - oh dear

 cool stats this morning thankfully no frost again 

no hills visible on the weathercam so it will take a while before the promised sunshine burns away the mist/low cloud

On the more mundane aspects of "just getting on with it" the Fun Factory continues as ever, predictable and just a daily set events that set your shift for you.  I noticed the next 3 weeks or so rosters being printed yesterday i shall consult them to ensure my "new hours" are appended - - -

In the garden its getting to be Blossom Time 

 the plum blossom is up and running 

 Peak Organics damson looks to be doing well also 

our 2 apple trees still have some way to go 

 mild stats again means there isnt any frost danger to the blossom that is abounding in the garden 

just a hint of a "blue bit" in the weathercam sky this morning with the weather agencies having conflicting reports of precipitation during the day - - - i think its safe to say "it might rain but then again it might not" - - -
